ASTM 1918 is the Standard Safety Performance Specification for Soft Contained Play Equipment. ASTM is an international standard organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and service. Topkidsplay has been designing, manufacturing, and installing indoor playgrounds that complies with the ASTM F1918 (Standard Safety Performance Specification for Soft Contained Play Equipment). The Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008 is a United States law signed on August 14, 2008 by President George Bush. The legislative bill was known as HR4040, sponsored by Congressman Bobby rush. It was approved by both the United States House of Representatives and Senate. NFPA has various standards depending on how the fabric will be used. In the case of draperies, curtains, and similar hanging textiles, the standard that applies is NFPA 701: Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films. This test measures the flammability of a fabric when it is exposed to specific sources of ignition. All of the materials used for Topkidsplay indoor playgrounds are complied with the NFPA 701.
UL 94 is the most widely used test for determining a specimen's relative flammability, its ability to extinguish the flame after ignition and its dripping behavior. UL94 covers two types of testing: vertical burn and horizontal burn. The Standard for Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials for Part in Devices and Appliance testing is a plastic flammability standard released by underwriters Laboratories of the USA. The standard classifies plastics according to how they burn in various orientations and rank their thicknesses from lowest (least flame-retardant) to highest (most flame-retardant).
Topkidsplay indoor playgrounds can also meet the requirements and standards of the UL 94.
The European Standards for Playground Equipment: EN 1176 and EN 1177 have been published to harmonise existing European standards. The EN1176 including EN1176-10, EN1176-1, EN1176-3 is a European safety standard made for both indoor playgrounds and outdoor playgrounds. Topkidsplay has been in business with many customers from European countries for many years. Topkidsplay indoor playgrounds can meet the EN1176 standards to pass the inspections by local safety authorities.

Canadian Standards Association (operating as "CSA Group") develops standards through a consensus standards development process approved by the Standards Council of Canada. This CSA Z614-07(R2012) Standard provides requirements for public-use playspaces and play equipment intended for use by children aged 18 months to 12 years with anthropometric limits based on the 95th percentile. This is the safety standard that is commonly referred by our Canadian customers. Thus, Topkidsplay indoor playgrounds are fully in compliance with this standard.
